The main purpose of these ‘Batteries’ is to provide each children a choice. This means that this test measures a child’s ability to solve problems using verbal, quantitative and nonverbal methods to produce a clear picture of the child’s cognitive abilities.
While some kids might choose to answer questions using words, others might prefer a nonverbal approach or a mathematical approach to provide reasonable answers. Usually kids who choose the third form of analysis, which is the nonverbal technique, and score reasonably well are considered more mentally capable than others due to the fact that they did not require words or numbers to come up with the correct answers, but only images.

School experience is essential, a child is presupposed to understand what he is going to be dealing with in the test, but his/her school experience will not determine his/her score in the cognitive assessment test.
